WORKING IN AUSTRALIA
Temporary
If you are interested in working in Australia in a temporary manner you must locate an employer who is willing to hire you. If you do not already have an employer you may wish to begin your search here: www.jobsearch.gov.au. Once you have arranged a contract with an employer, that person must go to the nearest DIAC office and complete necessary nomination formalities. If these are successful, you will be advised of which steps to take to apply for the necessary subclass 457 Long Stay Business Visa.
Permanent
If you are interested in working in Australia in a permanent manner you must carefully study all of the information about migration visas on the DIAC website (link to migration welcome page) and be particularly aware that you must be able to demonstrate a high level of English language proficiency as well as experience in a designated occupation. Should you wish to seek an employer who may be willing to sponsor your migration you may wish to begin your search here: www.jobsearch.gov.au.
