How to Lodge Your Application
Clients who would like to lodge a visa or citizenship application at the DIAC office at the Australian Embassy in Rome are required to have an appointment.
Please note: all applications may be lodged by mail or courier; there is no need to make an appointment to come in person to the Embassy. If you choose to lodge an application in person at the Embassy we may not be able to make a decision regarding your application on the same day.
To make an appointment, please telephone (+39 6) 852721, Monday to Friday between 9.00 and 10.30.
Please do not make final travel arrangements until you receive written advice from our office that your visa or citizenship document has been granted and you receive your documents back from our office.
If after reading the relevant pages and forms you require further assistance you may consider using the services of a registered migration agent in Australia. See: Migration Agents Registration Authority
